Welcome to Pauline Central Primary School!

I'd like to welcome you to Pauline Central's website. Our website is comprised of valuable information pertinent to our school. Keeping family, friends, and students in mind, this website has been designed for convenient access to updated news, schedules, and events. I hope by visiting our website you will become more acquainted with our school and have a greater understanding of what we do each day.

As principal, I'm committed to providing the leadership that's necessary to make our school a caring, safe, and structured educational environment. My vision for Pauline Central is derived from our mission statement: The mission of the Pauline Schools is for all children to achieve their highest level of performance as responsible and respectful citizens. It's my belief that our staff have the responsibility to help each child develop to their greatest potential. I'm privileged to work with outstanding educators who support this vision and strive to provide your children with quality learning experiences each day.

Active involvement in your child's education is essential in developing a strong partnership between home and school. Your continuous involvement, support, and cooperation, combined with out best professional efforts will ensure academic growth and success for our children.

3rd Grade State Assessments

Pauline Central 3rd grade students will be taking the Kansas State Assessments during the month of March. Here are a few tips to help you be your best:

  • Get a full night's sleep before the test.
  • Eat a good breakfast.
  • Stay relaxed.
  • Take some deep breaths.

Good luck to our 3rd grade students! We know you will do GREAT!

Writing and Drawing Contest

The Pauline Schools Site Council, in conjunction with the PTO, is hosting a Writing and Drawing contest. All students grades PreK through 6th are invited to write a story and/or create a piece of art for the contest. Students are allowed to enter both contests.

All entries for the contest should be turned in to your student's classroom teacher no later than the end of school, Tuesday, March 23.

Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each contest for each grade level.  The winners will be announced during school, and again at Family Fun Night, Friday April 16.

The prizes will be: 1st Place: $20.00 Barnes & Noble Gift Certificate

                          2nd Place: $15.00 Barnes & Noble Gift Certificate

                          3rd Place: $10.00 Barnes & Noble Gift Certificate

All entries will be on display during Family Fun Night.

PTO News

Are you looking for a way to get involved with the Pauline Schools?  The Pauline Schools PTO is currently looking for new officers and members for the 2010-2011 school year.  Please feel free to join us at one of our meetings.  We have three meetings left for this school year. Please see the schedule below.  Child care is provided.

 

Tuesday, April 6: 5:30 at Pauline South in the library

Tuesday, May 4: 5:30 at Pauline Central in the library

 

Another way to become involved would be to volunteer your time towards the Pauline Schools PTO sponsored Family Fun Night. The event is scheduled for Friday, April 16 from 5:30-8:00 at Pauline South.  The theme this year is "Kids Under Construction". We are currently looking for donations for this event, so if you or your business can supply funds or items, such as new books, door prizes, raffle items, etc. please contact the Pauline Central Office.
