Pauline Central is a PreK-3rd grade school located in the Auburn-Washburn School District in Topeka, Kansas.

Our goal is to inspire and challenge every child, every day. Our teachers bring a variety of experience and expertise to our classrooms. Consistent in each is the idea that all our decisions are based on what is best for children.

On the most recent state assessments, our students achieved the State Standard of Excellence in both reading and math. Our student's success is the result of a strong partnership between the school and the home.

Security

As per district policy, all exterior doors are locked at the start of the school day. Visitors must enter through the front exterior doors, pass through the main office, and are required to check-in and wear a visitor's pass while on the property. In addition, many security cameras exist throughout the premises.

In order to create a safe learning environment, USD 437 does not allow certain items on school grounds. Any person in violation will be reported to the school officials and possibly the police. Banned items include, but are not limited to:
  • Weapons
  • Tobacco Products
  • Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia
  • Alcohol
Any questions regarding this policy should be directed towards the school principal.
